The Health Information Services (HIS) Clerk is responsible for a wide range of clerical duties and is a key position within HIS. These duties include, but are not limited to performing discharge analysis on each record, sorting, scanning and assembly of inpatient records, pulling records for internal and external customers (including outpatient clinics, research, admissions and emergency), filing of loose sheets, processing patient information requests and coordinating records required for outstanding coding.
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 31 December 2026 (with possibility of ongoing employment)
Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 2
Remuneration: $1,327.60 - $1,371.64 per week

What You'll Be Doing The Health Information Services (HIS) Clerk is responsible for a wide range of clerical duties and is a key position within HIS. These duties include, but are not limited to performing discharge analysis on each record, sorting, scanning and assembly of inpatient records, pulling records for internal and external customers (including outpatient clinics, research, admissions and emergency), filing of loose sheets, processing patient information requests and coordinating records required for outstanding coding.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
