Futures provides a full range of execution, clearing and financing solutions to corporate and institutional clients, providing continuous 24-hour coverage of major markets globally.
The newly formed Futures COO team is seeking an experienced, high performing finance professional to shape the strategy, governance and operating rhythm for financial management across the global Futures business. Reporting to the Futures Chief Operating Officer (Futures COO), the role will also work closely with the Futures Division Head and broader Futures leadership team.

What role will you play?
Working with the Futures COO and Futures Leadership Team, you will shape and deliver the financial management agenda for the global Futures business. You will identify challenges and opportunities across financial performance, profitability, costs, recoveries, capital and business investment, translating these into clear recommendations, agreed priorities and measurable outcomes.
You will establish decision-ready MI and the governance required for ongoing financial management. You will challenge cost ownership and allocation, strengthen accountability and drive initiatives that improve the efficient and effective use of financial resources and technology investment.
Applying advanced data analytics and AI-enabled approaches will be central to the role. You will use these capabilities to improve forecasting and scenario analysis, identify opportunities, optimise costs,
recoveries and capital allocation, and support better business investment decisions.
What You Offer
- At least 10 years of experience in financial management, financial strategy, FP&A; or finance-led business management
- A track record of analysing complex financial information and delivering measurable improvements in financial performance, costs, recoveries and the use of capital and funding
- Demonstrated application of advanced data analytics and AI-enabled approaches to forecasting, scenario analysis and financial optimisation
- Strong understanding of Macquarie’s capital, funding and liquidity methodologies and their application to business and investment decisions
- Proven ability to develop clear recommendations, influence senior stakeholders and drive accountability across functions and regions
- Professional accounting or finance qualifications, such as CA or CFA, will be highly regarded
