About The Role This exciting new 6-month temporary project role opportunity offers the chance to make a significant organisational impact while further developing your leadership, recruitment and workforce management expertise. Working closely with nursing leaders and support services across Prison and Youth Detention Health Services, you will drive creative recruitment initiatives, strengthen workforce capacity, and help ensure our services are well-positioned to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. In this influential role, you'll gain valuable exposure to strategic workforce planning, stakeholder engagement and nursing workforce initiatives, while contributing to solutions that directly support our nursing teams.

What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid relationships, open communication and a positive environment within a team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others to a high standard.
- Demonstrated management experience and capability with an ability and commitment to work
- Demonstrated data analysis; outcome evaluation; service improvement and development
- Demonstrated management knowledge and skills specifically human resource management and advanced financial literacy within the healthcare environment.
Mandatory Requirements
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
