About The Role

We're looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our North East team, based from our Northcote office, covering Melbourne's northern suburbs.

You'll be part of a genuinely multidisciplinary team, working alongside OT and Speech Pathology colleagues.

What You'll Be Doing

- Deliver behaviour support services across home, school and community settings
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop Behaviour Support Plans
- Support participants with a range of presentations, including autism, intellectual disability and complex behaviours
- Collaborate with families, carers, educators and the broader multidisciplinary team
- Manage a varied caseload across community and clinic
- Take part in regular supervision,

What You'll Bring

- Current NDIS Commission suitability at Core level registration as a minimum
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle, this role involves community-based work, so this is genuinely required
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A collaborative and person-centred approach to practice
