Department is looking for enthusiastic Administration Officers to join our team on a casual basis.
About The Opportunity
As a casual Administration Officer in the Emergency Department, you will be an important part of the team supporting patients, families, clinicians and other staff. This Administration role helps keep the department running smoothly by providing high-quality administrative support, managing information and communications, responding to enquiries and assisting with the day-to-day coordination of administrative processes.

This is a purely casual opportunity, with the flexibility and variety that casual work can provide. Successful candidates must be available to work across a 24/7 roster, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays as required. In this role you will:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Emergency Department, including document preparation, information management, communications, minute-taking and maintaining records.
- Deliver professional, compassionate and responsive customer service to patients, families, staff and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate administrative processes and systems to support efficient service delivery, assisting senior officers and the wider team.
- Work with initiative and flexibility, applying policies and procedures, supporting team members through guidance and training, and undertaking other duties within your skills and capabilities.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills,
with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- The ability to remain calm, adaptable and effective in a busy and sometimes unpredictable environment.
- Initiative, flexibility and a willingness to learn, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Availability to work a 24/7 roster on a casual basis, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays as required.
