One Sugar or Two? Bring Café Cheer room to room in Woy Woy!
Roll through the halls with a smile and a coffee trolley, creating a warm, café‑style moment for residents at our Woy Woy aged care home. Your friendly presence helps make their day a little brighter as they enjoy a cuppa, a treat, a chat, or even a quiet read of the newspaper.
You’ll be serving coffees (using a easy pod machine), offering light refreshments, and bringing a joyful, welcoming vibe to residents who are frail aged or living with dementia. A warm hello, a shared laugh, or a gentle conversation can mean so much.
If you love creating cosy moments and connecting with people, this role brings comfort, companionship, and a touch of café magic to those who need it most.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.
