Make a difference by providing high-level support to senior leaders within a collaborative and fast-paced Mental Health service.

Your New Role

As the Director Support Officer, you will provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to senior leaders across the site-based Leadership Team, helping ensure the effective delivery of services within a busy Mental Health setting.

- Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Divisional Director, Community Director, Nursing Director and Leadership Team, including complex correspondence, meeting coordination, agendas, minutes and action follow-up.
- Coordinate information, resources and competing priorities across the service, including reporting, generic email management and administrative support during staff absences.
- Respond professionally to enquiries from patients, carers, visitors and staff, providing timely information and assistance while supporting effective service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation, while applying relevant systems, policies, procedures and legislation, including Mental Health Act 2016 requirements.

About you: We are looking for a highly organised and proactive administrative professional who can confidently operate in a complex, fast-paced executive setting and provide responsive, customer-focused support.

- Demonstrated high-level administrative and secretariat skills, with advanced proficiency in contemporary word processing, spreadsheet and information management systems.




- Proven ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams, using initiative and sound judgement to manage day-to-day operational matters.
- Exceptional organisational, problem-solving and prioritisation skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain continuity of service in a demanding environment.
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and communicate with senior executives, staff, external agencies and the public with tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and discretion.
