Who we are?
Police Bank is one of Australia’s fastest growing Mutual Banks. We are a progressive, purpose-driven financial institution, and we pride ourselves on offering a competitive range of financial products and services, all of which have been created with the needs of our members at front of mind.
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our People Team.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role is a trusted advisor to our Division Leaders and plays a key role in shaping culture, driving organisational performance and supporting our people strategy. You'll have the opportunity to influence business outcomes, lead strategic HR initiatives and provide advice across a broad range of people matters within a growing and purpose-driven organisation
What you’ll be doing?
This is a role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact. Working closely with our Division Leaders, you’ll be a trusted People & Culture partner; challenging thinking, coaching leaders and turning people strategies into practical outcomes that strengthen performance, capability and engagement across the business.
You’ll bring your experience and judgement to the moments that matter, from navigating people and employee relations matters through to shaping workforce and talent strategies. You’ll also take the lead on key People & Culture priorities and have the opportunity to influence broader initiatives across culture, wellbeing, remuneration, organisational change and development. If you enjoy working at both the strategic and operational level,
building strong relationships and finding better ways to support people and the business, this is a role where you can really make your mark.
What we are looking for
You’ll bring solid experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, along with a positive understanding of Australian employment law and the confidence to work through people matters when they arise. You’ll be someone leaders trust to challenge thinking when needed and find practical solutions that work for both our people and the business.
Experience in banking or financial services would be great, but it’s certainly not a deal breaker. We’re open to people from different industries who can bring a fresh perspective and the right experience to the role. What matters most is that you’re commercially minded, pragmatic and comfortable moving between big-picture thinking and getting hands-on when the situation calls for it.
If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and making a genuine difference, we’d love to hear from you.
