Senior Construction Lawyer – Senior Associate to Partner

An opportunity for an experienced Construction Lawyer to join a highly regarded specialist construction practice in Sydney, with genuine scope to step into a senior leadership position.

The firm is looking to speak with lawyers from Senior Associate through to Partner level who have strong construction law experience and are looking for high-quality work, autonomy and a clear pathway to progress.

The Opportunity
You will work across sophisticated construction and infrastructure matters, advising developers, contractors, consultants and other industry participants.
Depending on your background, your practice may include:

- Construction disputes and complex litigation
- Security of Payment matters and adjudications
- Contractual disputes, delay and disruption claims
- Defects and building disputes
- Construction contracts, procurement and project documentation
- Risk allocation and project advisory work
- Arbitration, mediation and other dispute resolution
- Major development and infrastructure matters

For senior Partner-level candidates, there is also an opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and direction of the practice.

About You
You will ideally have:





- Strong Australian construction law experience
- Experience at Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Partner level
- A background in front-end, back-end or a combination of construction work
- Robust drafting, advisory and client management skills
- The ability to manage matters with a high level of autonomy
- Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in developing long-term client relationships

A portable practice is not essential for strong Senior Associate candidates. For Partner-level candidates, an established network or demonstrated ability to develop client relationships will be highly regarded.
