Goulburn Hospital, part of Southern NSW Local Health District, is seeking locum Emergency Medicine doctors to support a busy and well-equipped Emergency Department.

Clinical Environment

You will work in a regional Emergency Department with diverse presentations, senior support and structured escalation pathways.

- Diverse ED presentations – manage paediatric and adult emergency care
- Well-supported department – access senior guidance and clear escalation pathways
- Hands-on acute care – gain experience across resus, trauma, medical and procedural work
- Adaptable shifts – choose ad-hoc shifts or longer booking options

Patient Demographic

You will support a broad Emergency Department patient mix, including adults, older patients, families, paediatric presentations, trauma, acute medical cases, procedural presentations and patients requiring assessment, stabilisation, escalation or transfer.

Key Duties

- Assess and manage ED presentations within scope
- Support patient flow, triage and treatment planning
- Participate in resus, trauma and acute care where appropriate
- Complete clinical documentation and handover
- Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Work collaboratively with nursing, medical and senior clinical teams

Requirements

- AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
- NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete credentialing and onboarding
