Clinical Environment

You will work across Obstetrics and Gynaecology services in Sydney, Greater Sydney and regional NSW, with clinical duties varying by site, roster and seniority.

- Broad O&G; exposure – support antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
- Birth suite and ward experience – work across birth suite, maternity ward, gynaecology ward and clinics
- Theatre exposure – assist with C-sections and gynaecology theatre lists where appropriate
- Consultant support – work with defined escalation pathways and senior clinical support
- Training value – consolidate skills that support O&G; training or future career moves

Patient Demographic

You will support a broad women’s health patient mix, including antenatal and postnatal patients, normal and high-risk pregnancies, birth suite presentations, gynaecology ward patients, clinic patients and women requiring acute assessment, escalation or theatre support.

Key Duties

- Provide O&G; Registrar cover within scope
- Support antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
- Review maternity and gynaecology ward patients
- Assist with birth suite, clinics and theatre lists where appropriate
- Complete clinical documentation and handover
- Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Work collaboratively with consultants, midwives, nursing and theatre teams

Requirements

- AHPRA General Registration
- PGY3+ with O&G; experience at Registrar level
- Training or non-training Registrar experience considered




- Recent obstetrics and/or gynaecology experience in Australia or a comparable system
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete NSW Health credentialing, compliance and mandatory training
