An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Director of Nursing / Facility Manager to join a well-established regional health service in Queensland.

This senior leadership role is responsible for the effective management, coordination, and delivery of high-quality healthcare services within a rural health setting. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical and non-clinical areas, ensuring safe, person-centred care is delivered to the community.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee clinical governance and quality improvement frameworks, and drive workforce capability, operational performance, and service development initiatives. This is a highly autonomous role requiring strong leadership, critical decision-making, and the ability to manage the complexities of rural and remote healthcare delivery.

About You

- Extensive experience in rural and/or regional nursing practice
- Proven senior leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- Solid understanding of clinical governance, quality and safety systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and change management skills
- Experience in operational, workforce, and service delivery management
- Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Health Administration or Management highly regarded
- Full Australian working rights required
