Our client is a household-name employer with a large, blue-collar workforce spread across NSW, currently investing heavily in modernising its people and payroll systems. As part of this, they're on the hunt for a Dayforce Payroll Governance Specialist to lead compliance, controls and assurance across a high-volume, award-driven payroll function.

This is a genuinely strategic seat — not just processing, but owning the governance framework that keeps a high-volume payroll accurate, compliant and audit-ready across multiple EBAs and EAs.

Nuts & Bolts:

- Own payroll governance, controls and compliance frameworks across the Dayforce platform
- Ensure payroll configuration and processing align with multiple EBAs/EAs and statutory requirements
- Lead internal and external payroll audits, liaising with auditors and regulators as required
- Identify,



investigate and remediate payroll compliance risks and control gaps
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Legal and Finance to interpret and apply legislative and industrial changes
- Develop and maintain payroll policies, procedures and control documentation
- Report on governance metrics, risk exposure and compliance status to senior stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement of payroll controls through Dayforce upgrades and releases

What You'll Bring:

- Robust background in payroll governance, compliance or audit within a large, complex payroll environment
- Experience with Dayforce highly regarded (other large-scale payroll/HCM platforms considered)
- Deep understanding of payroll legislation, award interpretation and EBA/EA compliance
- Experience in a blue-collar, unionised or shift-based environment highly regarded
- Confident stakeholder and audit-liaison skills — you can hold your own with regulators and execs alike
