- Base salary range: Level B, $122,876– $145,404 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About The Area The Department of Nursing within the School of Health and Clinical Sciences is building a contemporary nursing workforce equipped to meet the evolving health needs of Western Australia and beyond. Developed in partnership with key industry stakeholders, UWA's Nursing programs provide innovative undergraduate and postgraduate education that prepares graduates for practice across acute, primary, community, regional, rural and remote healthcare settings. The Department is committed to delivering high-quality, future-focused nursing education that combines evidence-based practice, clinical learning, simulation-based education, and strong industry engagement. Through these programs, UWA is contributing to workforce development, leadership capability, and improved health outcomes for communities across Western Australia.

About The Opportunity

- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across undergraduate and postgraduate Nursing programs, including technology-enhanced and online education.
- Contribute to curriculum design, review, assessment, simulation-based learning, professional practice education, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise Honours, Masters and PhD students, while building strong partnerships with healthcare providers, professional bodies and industry stakeholders.

About You

- PhD in Nursing or a relevant discipline,



or an equivalent combination of higher professional qualifications and contemporary professional practice experience.
- Current registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience delivering engaging, student-centred teaching, assessment and learning activities in higher education and/or clinical education settings.
- Experience supporting and assessing students in clinical and/or simulation-based learning environments, with a commitment to inclusive and equitable learning practices.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to contribute positively to cooperative teams, professional partnerships and broader university activities.
