Role Description The Lecturer Electrical will deliver high-quality training and assessment in electrical disciplines to diverse groups of learners in the Greater Perth Area. This full-time, part time, casual, in office role involves planning and delivering lessons, workshops, and practical lab sessions aligned with national training packages and SM TAFE .The role includes maintaining industry currency, collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications
- Relevant electrical trade qualification WA Electrical licence, and current industry experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or related fields.
- TAE or equivalent vocational education and training (VET) teaching qualification, or willingness to obtain this qualification within an agreed timeframe.
- Strong knowledge of electrical standards, safety regulations, and emerging technologies, including practical experience in applying these in real-world environments.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions, assess competency-based outcomes, and use a variety of teaching and assessment methods.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with diverse learners and colleagues and contribute to collaborative team environments.
- Competence in using digital tools and learning technologies to support teaching, recordkeeping, and student engagement.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, inclusive education practices, and maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and VET compliance requirements.
- Eligibility to work in Australia and the ability to meet any relevant licensing, registration, or security clearance requirements.
