The Role:

As a Mechanic, you'll be crucial in ensuring the smooth processing of vehicles, from logging them in to identifying any damages and preparing road test reports for auction presentation. You'll handle part fittings, help maintain the yard, manage inventory, and assist the operations team as needed.

This permanent full-time role, offering a salary of $75,000 to $81,000 per annum excluding superannuation, is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has an eye for detail. It's a great opportunity for a qualified mechanic looking to join a agile team and be part of the auction excitement.

Responsibilities

- Fit parts onto vehicles according to specifications and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard and storage areas.
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and organising parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Skills & Experiences:





- Certification in light vehicle mechanics or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role in a medium to large organisation or significant equivalent experience in a related industry
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
