Campbelltown and Camden hospital is one of the fastest growing facilities and is part of the largest district SWSLHD in the state. The Pharmacy team is young , dynamic and well-integrated with other clinical services. There is a core senior leadership group that offers mentorship and guidance.

Pharmacy interns have ample opportunity for development , career growth, and the ability to apply the theoretical knowledge they have in clinical environment and see direct impacts to patient care. Are you ready to make a difference - we’re looking for a motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic pharmacy intern who is ready to learn, take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment. You’ll bring strong clinical knowledge, a practical mindset, and a passion for patient care, with the confidence to work independently and as part of a supportive team.

Note: These positions are temporary fulltime from January 2027 for 12 months.

Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Eligible to apply for Supervised Practice arrangements with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)



prior to the agreed date for commencement and enrolment in the National Intern Training Program for pharmacists.
- Current clinical pharmacy knowledge and clinical problem-solving ability, including ability to perform medication chart reviews.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including medication counselling to enable a patient to administer medicines safely and effectively.
- An understanding of the skilled, ethical, and legal requirements of a pharmacist.
- Commitment to hospital pharmacy practice, lifelong learning, and willingness to take initiative to broaden skills, knowledge, and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as an individual and as a member of a team.
