Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting a Principal Piping Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Lead Piping Engineer, the successful candiate will assist;
- Develop engineering for brownfields O&G; modification projects without supervision that comply with local laws and regulations, as well as industry and company codes, standards and practises
- Undertake the role of technical lead to a team of senior, junior and graduate engineers
Qualifications
- Prior experience on PNG projects essential
- 12 years minimum experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- At least 8 years shall have been in the piping discipline
- An engineering degree from an accredited, recognised State College or University
- Familiar with discipline relevant US and Australian Industry Design Codes
