About Sekuro

We're a founder-led global consulting company in the cybersecurity market, operating across Australia, Asia, and the UK. Our reputation is built on breaking away from traditional consulting models, embracing a direct and fresh approach that puts clients at the centre of everything we do. Our mission is simple: to be our clients' most trusted security partner by delivering impactful outcomes that build resilience, enable innovation, and improve competitiveness.

Our vision is to be the world's most trusted security partner, enabling organisations to protect today and prepare for tomorrow. We exist to secure organisations, empowering them to thrive in a digital world.

We live by our values: we are brave, we raise the bar, we tell it how it is, we own the outcome, and we care for all.

The Role

- Lead governance across a critical data centre relocation for one of our clients over a six-month engagement.
- Build and run a governance framework from scratch, with the right visibility, escalation paths, and accountability at every level.
- Ensure risks are surfaced early, decisions are made by the right people at the right time, and the client always has clear line of sight into progress.
- Tell stakeholders what they need to hear, not just what they want to hear.

What You'll Do

- Design and run the governance framework for the program, including steering committee structures, reporting cadences, and decision-making pathways.
- Own the risk and issue management process end-to-end, ensuring risks are identified, owned, tracked,

and escalated appropriately.
- Chair or support steering committee and working group meetings, preparing clear and honest status reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Ensure every decision point is documented with a clear audit trail.
- Set and enforce change control processes so scope, budget, and timeline changes go through proper approval.
- Manage vendor and contractor governance, holding third parties to the same standards of accountability and reporting as the internal team.
- Work closely with security and infrastructure leads to ensure governance extends to risk posture and compliance requirements throughout the relocation.

What You'll Need

- A strong track record establishing and running governance frameworks on complex infrastructure or data centre programs, ideally including at least one full relocation or migration from start to finish.
- Experience building steering committee structures, risk and issue registers, and change control processes from the ground up.
- Confidence presenting frank, evidence-based reporting to senior and executive stakeholders.
- Comfort holding vendors, contractors, and internal teams accountable to governance standards, even when that means having difficult conversations.
- Solid stakeholder management skills and the judgement to know when an issue needs escalation versus management within the team.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP are highly regarded, though we're just as interested in your runs on the board.
