TIG WELDER / FABRICATOR

South East Melbourne | Full-Time | Ongoing Work | Immediate Start

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are exactly the same. You’ll be hands-on across welding, fabrication and assembly, including:

- TIG welding stainless steel and mild steel

- Approximately 60% TIG welding / 40% fabrication and other welding

- Reading and interpreting workshop/fabrication drawings

- Fabricating and assembling security fencing components and structures

- Using workshop machinery, hand tools and equipment

- Producing clean, high-quality welds with excellent attention to detail

- Working on specialised commercial and industrial projects

- Keeping your work area safe, organised and running efficiently

- Working alongside a great team to hit production targets

What You'll Bring





We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a workshop and genuinely cares about the quality of their work.

You’ll ideally have:

- Proven TIG welding and fabrication experience

- Strong experience working with steel and stainless steel

- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings

- Experience in fencing, architectural metalwork, structural steel or a similar industry highly regarded

- Excellent attention to detail

- A strong focus on quality and safety

- Reliable and punctual work ethic

- Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
