The Lower Mid North Coast Opiate Dependence Service at Manning Base Hospital in Taree offers an opportunity to work within a welcoming and collaborative multidisciplinary team.

You’ll provide person-centred care, build meaningful therapeutic relationships and develop specialised nursing experience while supporting positive health outcomes for patients.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

- Provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
- Build positive therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
- Contribute to a collaborative team and ongoing professional development.

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a Registered Nurse who is compassionate, approachable and committed to providing respectful, person-centred care. You’ll bring strong communication skills, the ability to build positive therapeutic relationships and a calm, professional approach to working with patients and colleagues.

Experience in drug and alcohol or opiate dependence services is highly regarded, but we also welcome nurses who are passionate about this area and eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
