Job Description

A typical day will involve:

- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Receiving, checking and booking in goods against purchase orders and documentation
- Picking, packing, processing and dispatching customer orders
- Delivering products to customers in a protected, courteous and professional manner
- Driving company vehicles while complying with all road rules and traffic regulations
- Providing friendly customer service and sales support to local trades and customers
- Assisting customers with product enquiries, order updates and general branch requests
- Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting stocktakes
- Keeping the warehouse, showroom and yard clean, organised and presentable
- Operating forklifts and other equipment safely
- Working collaboratively with the branch team to meet customer and operational requirements
- Supporting other branch duties as required — we are a small team, and everyone plays an important part
- Upholding Rexel’s strong safety culture and following all workplace health and safety procedures
