Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Fixed Term Part-Time Hospital Coordinator (0.4EFT Permanent and 0.3 EFT, contract till 30th June 2027) and Casual Hospital Coordinator opportunities at Epworth Freemasons.

Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager - Freemasons, this leadership role is responsible for coordinating daily hospital operations, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic healthcare environment.

As a Hospital Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating daily and afterhours hospital operations, acting as a key point of contact between clinical and administrative teams. You will help ensure effective patient flow, support operational excellence, emergency management and contribute to the delivery of outstanding healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day hospital operations across inpatient units and our Richmond-Emergency Department, to ensure access and patient flow is maintained.
- Support the site with emergency management procedures
- Liaise with VMO’s,



nursing teams and other healthcare facilities.
- Support quality, risk, and compliance initiatives.
- Respond to operational issues and facilitate timely solutions with the support of the Epworth Richmond on call team after hours.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and stakeholders.
