About us
At CareSuper, we believe we're Super Together. As a profit-to-member super fund with over 600,000 members and $60 billion in assets, we're passionate about helping our members retire with confidence. We're growing fast and looking for our next superhero to join us on this exciting journey.
About the role
As our new Service Designer, you'll support key enterprise projects across end-to-end member journeys, helping define current and future state experiences that are desirable for members, feasible for operations and deliverable at scale.
Reporting to the CX Manager, you'll play an important role in shaping practical, human-centred service experiences across digital, assisted and back-office channels.
You will:
- Apply a member experience lens to vendor recommendations, technology solutions and out-of-the-box processes to support pragmatic future-state design decisions.
- Develop and maintain service design artefacts such as customer journey maps, service blueprints, experience maps and end-to-end process views.
- Identify upstream and downstream impacts across member experience, supporting processes, systems, operational roles and delivery teams.
- Connect customer insights, research and journey mapping to inform future-state design and address known member needs and pain points.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with experience, digital, technology, product, operations, risk, compliance and vendor teams to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Ensure service designs are clear, actionable and detailed enough to support requirements definition and successful technical delivery.
What we're looking for
We're looking for a curious, collaborative and structured Service Designer who can bring clarity to complex member journeys and help teams make confident, human-centred decisions.
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- Robust experience developing service design artefacts, including customer journey maps, service blueprints and end-to-end process views.
- Experience working in large project environments,
balancing member needs with scope, timelines, operational constraints and delivery priorities.
- Confidence working with technology projects and technology vendors, with the ability to translate future-state service designs into practical requirements for delivery teams.
- Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence, align and support decision-making across diverse teams.
- A strong human-centred design mindset, supported by systems thinking, structured problem-solving and a practical approach to improving services at scale.
- Experience in superannuation, financial services or another regulated environment is highly desirable.
