An established and growing building products business is looking for an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join its team.

This is an opportunity for someone who understands the roofing and building industry, knows how to deal with trades and builders, and is ready to take the next step in their career.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being involved in the action, customers, sales, stock, staff, suppliers and the day-to-day running of a busy branch.

About the Opportunity

Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will play an significant role in keeping the branch operating efficiently while delivering a high level of service to residential and commercial customers.

You will be dealing with trades, builders, contractors and other industry professionals, while also supporting the internal team across sales, customer service, warehouse and operations.

This is not a role for someone looking to simply manage from the sidelines.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable getting involved wherever required.

What You'll Be Doing

- Supporting the Branch Manager with the daily operation of the branch

- Assisting with sales, customer service and account management

- Building strong relationships with builders, roofers,



contractors and trade customers

- Managing customer enquiries, quotes, orders and follow-up

- Supporting the internal sales and warehouse teams

- Assisting with stock control, purchasing and inventory management

- Coordinating deliveries and ensuring customers receive the right products on time

- Helping maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers

- Identifying opportunities to increase sales and grow existing accounts

- Assisting with staff performance, training and day-to-day direction

- Maintaining a safe, organised and professional branch environment

- Stepping into the Branch Manager's responsibilities when required

Salary and Benefits

Base $110k | 12% Super | Bonus
