Mentor, coach and care for the growth and professional development of centre-based self-funded trainees and apprentices in all aspects of their training and assessment. Perform on the job assessment within agreed timeframes, conduct study groups, and be available for one-on-one consultations with students. Ensure students complete at least one unit per month and that 80% of Students Under Management complete a minimum of one unit per month. Proactively seek new students and visit centres not currently serviced by KKTC to create new training opportunities. Build strong rapport with key centre-based stakeholders including Centre Managers, Educational Leaders and Room Supervisors.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure completion of units to allow course to be completed within required timeframe
- Support students in completing units with competency to the level expected of KKTC
- Maintain student records ensuring student database is updated weekly
- Deliver training in accordance with KKTC Policies and the ASQA standards
- Mentor and support students to achieve thorough practical knowledge of required elements of each unit
- Report to management any concerns or grievances students may have
- Ensure monthly submissions are administratively completed including student name, signature, date on assessments and supervisor details in logbook
- Use Cloud Assess for assessment and ensure forms are processed in timely manner
- Maintain consistent contact with students (1 visit per month per student) and ensure reporting through student management system
- Ensure students are provided with feedback on completed assessments within 7 days of submission
