Glencore’s McArthur River Mine (MRM) is a world-class zinc-lead mine with a long future. Located in the Gulf of Carpentaria, 900 km southeast of Darwin and 64 km from Borroloola, MRM produces and processes zinc, lead, and silver from our open-cut mine. About The Role:

Under the guidance of the Senior Compliance Reporting and Approvals Advisor you will play a key role in delivering reports for the business, track compliance to ensure environmental approvals are current and updated accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Promote Glencore SafeWork protocols and processes to ensure a safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on planned Environment reports for the year.
- Support Senior CRA Advisor with the planning and delivery of short and long term objectives.




- Support with maintaining an accurate Environmental Management System to ensure it aligns to relevant quality and environmental standards
- Collaborate with Community relations team to provide support, advice and engagement opportunities.
- Contribute to a positive team culture within both the CRA team as well as the Environment Team
- Demonstrate flexibility and be able to adapt quickly to new ideas and concepts.

Key Requirements:

- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of mining operations, rehabilitation and land management principles.
- Experience working with or supervising contractors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise across multiple teams.
- Competent data management, reporting and use of GIS or mapping tools
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
