- Remuneration: Casual hourly rate range of $49.33 to $51.90 per hour, inclusive of 25% casual loading.

- Open to: Currently enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate students at QUT who are studying in a related field and meet a GPA of at least 4, and hold valid work rights in Australia for the duration of the casual appointment are encouraged to apply. Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Assistant Communications Officer, Business Operations to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.
The Assistant Communications Officer will support the Business Operations team in various tasks and projects to ensure effective communications across the department. The role will work cross functionally to support communication activities across Digital Business Solutions (DBS), and will offer valuable hands-on experience in corporate communication, graphic design, web updating, and information design techniques for use in professional and corporate presentations. This position will sit within the Business Operations in DBS and will report to the Principal Consultant, Communications for supervision and workload management as appropriate.

What you need to succeed
1. Exposure to information technology concepts, with the ability to capture and document requirements with a high degree of attention to detail.
2. Demonstrated ability to visually represent complex information, using templates to effectively communicate key concepts and messaging.
3. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients and effectively resolve queries.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in using various internal communication channels such as Microsoft Teams, Digital Workplace, SharePoint, and Confluence/Wiki.
5. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
