Yalata Anangu School is seeking a Kitchen Officer to join our team in one of South Australia?s most unique and rewarding remote communities. Located on the Far West Coast of South Australia, approximately 200 kilometres west of Ceduna, Yalata sits at the gateway to the breathtaking Nullarbor Plain ? where dramatic coastline, vast open skies and a strong sense of community create an unforgettable place to live and work.

About the Role
The Kitchen Officer plays an significant role in supporting the health and wellbeing of Anangu students through the preparation and delivery of nutritious, appealing meals.
In this role,



you will contribute to the smooth operation of the school kitchen by preparing food, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and helping to create healthy menus that support student engagement and wellbeing.

This position is school terms only, offering an excellent work/life balance while still allowing you to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Exceptional Benefits and Incentives
This role offers a generous package designed to support remote living and make your move to Yalata as comfortable as possible, including:

Approx. $10,000 per year Locality Allowance
Fully subsidised furnished accommodation, including utilities
(accommodation may be shared)
Four paid travel days per term
Relocation and removal expenses covered
Support for travel and accommodation for medical and dental treatment
