About the role
At SA Power Networks, our people help keep South Australia connected.

We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to play a key role in supporting the reliable and cost-effective movement of materials across the business, ensuring teams have the right materials available when and where they are needed.

In this role, you will be accountable for developing and implementing best practice inventory and supply chain strategies that contribute to excellent customer service, optimum inventory levels and strong material availability. You will work closely with internal and external customers to understand service requirements, identify improvement opportunities and support continuity of supply across SA Power Networks.

You will also contribute to the development and implementation of Quality Management System procedures and work instructions, support the review and preparation of material price lists, and provide guidance to team members as required.

About you

You will be a proactive and customer-focused supply chain or inventory skilled who enjoys using data, systems and stakeholder insights to improve service outcomes. You will bring solid communication skills, sound judgement and a practical approach to solving supply chain challenges in a dynamic operational environment.

To be successful, you will be comfortable building relationships across teams, balancing customer needs with business requirements, and identifying opportunities to improve processes, procedures and material availability.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Experience in inventory management, materials management, procurement, supply chain or a related discipline.
- Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to analyse information, identify issues and develop practical solutions.
- Experience working with business systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- An understanding of quality procedures,



work instructions and continuous improvement practices.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to support and guide others when required.

Essential:

- Associate Diploma in a materials management discipline and/or extensive experience in the materials management field.
- Current valid drivers licence
