AMP Recruitment is working with an established Brisbane electrical contractor looking to bring an experienced Electrical Foreman into their growing construction team.

With a strong pipeline of projects across Brisbane, this is an opportunity for an experienced Foreman or Leading Hand to take ownership of projects, lead crews and continue progressing towards Project Management.

The Role

- Lead and coordinate electrical crews of approximately 5–10 staff
- Oversee multiple projects depending on size and stage of construction
- Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors and day-to-day site requirements
- Liaise directly with builders, Project Managers and other trades
- Manage programmes and ensure works are completed safely and on schedule
- Assist with planning, procurement and upcoming stages of works
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship across the team

- New-build commercial construction
- Refurbishment and upgrade projects
- Projects cover the full electrical construction lifecycle, from undergrounds, mains and submains through to switchboards, cable tray, rough-in and final fit-off.

About You

- Strong electrical construction background across all stages of a project
- Previous Foreman or Leading Hand experience
- Comfortable leading crews and coordinating works on site
- Confident dealing with builders, clients and other subcontractors
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations
- Able to plan ahead, manage labour and keep projects moving
- QLD Electrical Licence
- Strong Leading Hands looking to take the next step into a Foreman position are encouraged to apply
