We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Trades Assistant to support the maintenance at South Walker Creek Mine. This role is ideal for someone with prior mining or heavy industry experience who is safety-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting tradespeople with mechanical and maintenance tasks
- Tool handling, parts fetching, and equipment preparation
- General labouring, housekeeping, and workshop support
- Supporting breakdowns, planned maintenance, and shutdown activities
- Adhering to all site safety procedures and WHS standards

Role Requirements:

- Current S11
- Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Working at Heights, Confined spaces,



Elevated Work Platform
- Forklift and Franna Ticket

About You:

- Previous Trades Assistant experience in mining, resources, or heavy industry
- Proven commitment to safety and protected work practices
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- 7/7 dayshift only roster
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical required
