About the Opportunity

As a Quality Systems Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting ASC's Quality Management System and ensuring the business maintains compliance with key certifications and governance requirements.

Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will help coordinate audits, manage quality system documentation, support the closure of audit findings, and ensure business requirements are accurately documented, communicated and embedded. This is a highly collaborative role where your ability to influence, coordinate and bring people together will be just as important as your technical quality knowledge.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate internal, external, and customer audits and support effective management of audit outcomes.
- Monitor audit findings and corrective actions, partnering with stakeholders to ensure issues are understood, investigated, and closed out appropriately.
- Maintain and improve quality management systems, documentation, procedures, and associated business processes.




- Support compliance with ISO-certified management systems and organisational governance requirements.
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and insights that support quality and business performance.
- Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders across the business to resolve quality system and compliance issues.
- Contribute to process mapping, continuous improvement initiatives, and future quality system enhancements.
- Support administration and continuous improvement of enterprise quality management tools, including CMS and related systems.
- Ensure quality information is documented, controlled, and communicated effectively across the organisation.

About you

We're looking for someone who combines strong systems thinking with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. You will bring:

- Experience working within quality management systems, compliance, governance and document control environments.
- Knowledge of ISO management systems (audit processes highly regarded).
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong facilitation and coordination skills, with the confidence to bring people together to solve problems and achieve outcomes.
- Experience supporting audits, corrective actions, root cause investigations or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and business systems such as SharePoint, Power Automate or similar platforms.
- Exposure to process mapping, process improvement or Lean methodologies will be highly regarded.

Defence industry experience is not essential.



We're more interested in professionals who understand quality systems, compliance frameworks, and stakeholder-driven problem solving.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
