Matthew Gibney Catholic Primary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Administration Officer to be the first point of contact for our school. This vital role requires someone who is warm, professional, and highly organised, ensuring that students, families, and staff feel supported and valued. This is a full time position working 44 weeks per year.
As a key member of our small administrative team, you will need to be adaptable and responsive to the dynamic nature of a busy school front office.

The successful applicant will:
•Be the first point of contact for families, students, and visitors including future enrolments.
•Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
•Build positive relationships with families to foster trust and belonging.

•Be adaptable and proactive in managing the fast-paced environment of a school office.

Selection Criteria:
Matthew Gibney Catholic Primary School is looking for someone who can demonstrate:
•Integrity, loyalty, and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality on key issues.
•Outstanding interpersonal skills and a welcoming manner.
•Flexibility and ability to respond to change while working collaboratively as part of a team.
•Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
•Strong communication skills—both written and oral.
•Self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
•High-level computing skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite
•Current First Aid qualification (or prepared to complete training).
Desirable
•Web site management (or willing to learn)
•Familiarity with school operating systems AoS, SEQTA (or willing to learn)
Qualifications Required:
A current National Police History Check as issued by the Edcuation Department of WA
•A current Working with Children Check.
•Be willing to work towards or maintain Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School.
