About the role
As a Business Process Improvement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Logan Water's transformation and continuous improvement journey by partnering with process owners, experts and stakeholders to improve the way we work.
A key priority of this role is independently mapping and documenting current-state business processes, identifying process issues, risks and opportunities for improvement, and facilitating the design and implementation of process improvements.
Success in this role will rely on your ability to build strong relationships across the business, engage stakeholders at all levels, and guide teams through process improvement initiatives. We are looking for someone who is practical, collaborative, and willing to move forward, helping stakeholders navigate change while delivering measurable business outcomes.
Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will apply your specialist expertise to document, analyse, improve and implement processes aligned with Logan Water's process architecture.
Position responsibilities include:
- Independently observing and documenting current-state business processes across Logan Water.
- Identifying process requirements such as customer and legislative requirements.
- Analysing existing processes to identify issues, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Designing and documenting improved business processes to address process challenges.
- Supporting the successful implementation of process improvements.
- Building team-oriented and trusted relationships with stakeholders to influence positive change.
- Contributing the ongoing development of Logan Water's process architecture.
Key indicators for success:
- Demonstrated experience in business process analysis, process improvement or business transformation roles.
- Proven ability to independently document current-state and future-state business processes.
- Proven ability to identify process issues, risks and opportunity and develop solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build relationships and influence.
- Experience applying process improvement methodologies such as lean principles and practices.
- Self-motivated, highly organised and capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
