We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Machine Shop team, manage machining operations and support the delivery of production requirements.

The Role Includes:

- Plan and prioritise daily production schedules to meet throughput targets

- Allocate staff to machines and jobs based on skill level and job complexity

- Lead, coach and develop machinists and operators to build team capability

- Co-ordinate the CNC machine set-up and ensure SOP compliance

- Liaise with the production team on scheduling and priorities

- Monitor output against targets and resolve bottlenecks

- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting

- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly workplace

This role requires strong people management as well as technical capability, with responsibility for team performance, transparent direction,



accountability and day-to-day leadership.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent trade experience)

- Minimum of five years' experience managing and leading a CNC workshop team

- Experience scheduling and prioritising production to meet throughput targets

- Broad knowledge of CNC Lathe and Milling machining processes

- Proficient in the use of measuring and quality control equipment

- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and coaching skills

- High level of attention to detail
