Crawfords is looking for an Inductions & Onboarding Officer to join our Health Safety Security & Environment team at our Sandgate depot on a permanent full-time basis.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an organised and proactive Inductions & Onboarding Officer to support our HSSE team and coordinate employee and subcontractor compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating employee and subcontractor onboarding and inductions
- Managing contractor and customer portals
- Maintaining accurate records for licences, competencies, training and medicals
- Monitoring expiry dates and following up outstanding compliance requirements
- Coordinating Order 45 medicals and other required medical assessments
- Scheduling training and site inductions
- Maintaining employee and subcontractor compliance records
- Assisting with document control and general HSSE administration
- Liaising with employees, subcontractors, customers and external providers
- Supporting continuous improvement of onboarding and compliance processes

Experience with contractor portals including Avetta, BlueScope, Ideagen and Orica would be highly advantageous.

About You

You will ideally have:





- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills
- Experience with Safety Management Systems or training platforms
- A proactive approach to compliance and problem solving
- A friendly, professional and reliable manner

Experience within mining, heavy vehicle transport, logistics, resources or safety/compliance is highly desirable.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in administration, inductions, onboarding or compliance
- Experience using contractor management portals
- Experience with Mitti, SafetyCulture or similar systems would be advantageous
- Experience coordinating medicals, training and competency requirements
- Knowledge of safety and compliance documentation is desirable
