Job Responsibilities:

- Assist the anaesthetist with the preparation and administration of anaesthesia in accordance with organisational policies and clinical guidelines.
- Prepare and check anaesthetic equipment, medications, airway equipment, monitoring devices, and emergency equipment prior to procedures.
- Conduct appropriate pre-operative checks and ensure the patient is adequately prepared for anaesthesia.
- Assist with patient positioning, monitoring, airway management, and other anaesthetic procedures as required.
- Continuously monitor patients during anaesthesia and promptly recognise and respond to changes in the patient's condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of anaesthetic care, observations, medications, and interventions.
- Ensure medication safety, including appropriate checking, preparation, administration, labelling, and disposal.
- Assist with the safe transfer and handover of patients to the recovery/PACU team following procedures.

Reuirements:

- Current nursing registration and relevant qualifications.
- Previous experience in anaesthetics, perioperative nursing, theatre nursing, or a similar acute-care setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organisational skills.
