Auto Classic BMW is seeking a qualified and motivated Recon / Pre-Delivery Technician to join our team in Osborne Park.

This role focuses on vehicle reconditioning and pre-delivery preparation, ensuring vehicles meet dealership and manufacturer standards before reaching our customers.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out mechanical inspections, servicing and repairs on vehicles requiring reconditioning

- Completing pre-delivery inspections and preparing vehicles for customer handover

- Diagnosing mechanical faults and repairing or replacing faulty components

- Assessing vehicle condition and reporting any additional work required

- Repairing mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions and suspension

- Conducting road tests and final quality checks before delivery

- Accurately recording inspections, repairs and work completed using dealership systems

- Liaising with the service and parts teams to ensure work is completed efficiently

- Providing guidance and assistance to apprentice technicians when required





- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work area

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

- A recognized automotive technician trade qualification and relevant certification to work as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic

- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

- The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team

- Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

- A reliable, motivated approach and clear communication skills

- A commitment to safe work practices and customer satisfaction

Previous experience in vehicle reconditioning, pre-delivery or a similar post-trade role will be highly regarded.
