About You
As a Stage 5 and 6 Mathematics Teacher at the Auburn Campus, you will inspire secondary students through dynamic, engaging teaching designed to foster analytical thinking, problem-solving, and numerical confidence within a supportive Catholic learning environment. In this temporary position for the 2027 school year (covering maternity leave), you will create an inclusive and high-expectation classroom-empowering students to master complex mathematical concepts, achieve their academic potential across Stage 5 and Stage 6 courses,
and build key critical-thinking skills while actively contributing to the spiritual and pastoral life of the school community. You will have:
- expertise in teaching Stage 5 and 6 Mathematics - ability to teach Senior Advanced courses is highly desirable
- a strong classroom management and student well-being focus
- the ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
- the ability to collect and use a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices
- strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others.
