We are currently recruiting a Laboratory Technician to support our analytical operations. This is a part time role of 25 hours per week. Duties, total hours and hours of work may be varied to suit individual applicants.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will work within a busy commercial laboratory workplace, supporting analytical staff and contributing to the efficient day‑to‑day operation of the laboratory.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting analytical staff with general laboratory housekeeping activities.

- Assisting with the receipt, labelling and cataloguing of reagents and consumables.





- Preparation of laboratory reagent solutions and volumetric solutions.

- Performing basic clerical tasks, including filing and management of laboratory documentation.

- Laboratory glassware cleaning when required.

About you:

- Certificate‑level qualification in chemistry or a related scientific discipline (minimum)

- A willingness to work in a regulated laboratory environment

- Initiative and attention to detail

- Prior laboratory or workplace experience is advantageous but not essential

- Australian work rights are mandatory for this position

The role will be offered in accordance with Australian National Employment Standards, with competitive hourly remuneration, commensurate with experience, annual leave and personal leave entitlements, plus 12% Superannuation Guarantee.
