About the role

Reporting to the managing director and the GM, this is an opportunity for a talented individual to be responsible for all of the internal Accounting & Bookkeeping functions and Administration as part of a small agile team. You will be able to confidently lead discussions with Management and provide guidance and foresight as well as undertake the day-to-day requirements of the Accounting/Bookkeeping role.

Key responsibilities

- Manage all internal Accounting & Bookkeeping functions

- Handle Accounts Receivable/Payable

- Prepare monthly and annual financial accounts including budgets and forecasts

- Manage BAS and Statutory reporting

- Manage payroll function

- Undertake reconciliations

- Lead discussions with Management and provide guidance and foresight

About you

- Minimum 5 years proven experience as an Internal Accountant/Bookkeeper

- Strong knowledge of double entry accounting and reconciliations





- Experience with XERO

- Payroll experience

- Excellent communication and verbal skills

- Capable of interacting effectively with people at all levels of an organisation

- Detail-oriented to ensure no mistakes in critical documents

- Australian Permanent Resident
