You’ll play a key role in:
Leading the protected, profitable and timely delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion and the defects liability period. You’ll guide project teams, build trusted client and subcontractor relationships, and help grow SHAPE’s capability across commercial, education, health, defence, community and hospitality environments in Hobart.

- Manage project budgets, cost reports, payment claims, variations and financial performance
- Identify contractual risks and opportunities, maintaining strong contract management practices
- Coordinate project teams, clients and subcontractors to achieve quality, programme and safety outcomes
- Ensure projects comply with SHAPE’s safety, quality and environmental management requirements
- Mentor and develop Project Coordinators while supporting high-performing teams

What you’ll bring:

- Experience delivering commercial construction project, ideally in fitout and refurbishment
- Strong knowledge of head contracts, subcontracts, cost reporting,



programming and project methodology
- Experience interpreting drawings and specifications, managing buildability and delivering to Australian safety standards
- A collaborative, accountable leadership style that builds trust with clients, subcontractors and project teams
- A positive, adaptable approach and a genuine interest in developing local capability and helping others grow
