Senior Qualified Landscaper
Team Leader / Project Manager Opportunity
Location: Byron Bay & Northern Rivers, NSW

We're looking for an experienced, trade qualified landscaper who wants more than just another job. This is an opportunity to become a key member of a growing business. The newly created position of Team Leader / Project Manager will be integral as the company continues to expand.
About the Role
You'll be working across a wide variety of landscape construction projects, from CBD jobs with tight access, to larger acreage properties. This is a leadership position for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can manage a jobsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calculating Quantities, ordering materials and maintaining a great relationship with our suppliers.
- Managing a small team and being the main point of contact while Tom (director) is offsite
- Helping maintain the high standards Streatscapes sets for all team members
- Communicating respectfully with clients, builders/external trades and designers
Skills & Experience Required
Qualified Landscaper with 5+ years post trade experience
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans
- Experience managing a small team
- Experience with site set out and basic site surveying
- Competent constructing retaining walls (post & rail, vertical sleeper, block wall, coreten steel)
- Experienced in paving and stone installation (brick paving, crazy paving)
- Landscape carpentry experience (decking, arbors, pergolas)
- Robust softscape installation skills (eye for naturalistic garden detailing - rock placement, garden contouring, 'dry creek bed' swale building)
- Basic irrigation and drainage knowledge
- Machine operating experience (excavator, skid steer loader)
- Concrete preparation and finishing experience is highly regarded (forming, screeding, standard finishing)
- Current driver's license and reliable transport
