Smoke Alarm Electrician – Gold Coast

We’re working with an established smoke alarm compliance business servicing residential rental properties across the Gold Coast. They’re looking for a licensed electrician who enjoys working independently, managing their own day and completing a well-organised schedule of pre-booked jobs.

This is a great prospect for someone already working in smoke alarms, residential maintenance or compliance who wants steady Monday–Friday work, a company vehicle and genuine work-life balance.

What’s On Offer

- $40 - $45 per hour + super, negotiable based on experience
- Fully maintained company vehicle + fuel

What You’ll Be Doing

- Installing, replacing and testing smoke alarms
- Completing smoke alarm compliance inspections
- Carrying out basic switchboard safety checks
- Working across residential rental properties throughout the Gold Coast
- Completing scheduled jobs through a mobile app




- Managing vehicle stock, with consumables supplied
- Starting your day from home - no daily depot check-ins
- Providing professional service to tenants and property managers

What We’re Looking For

- QLD Electrical Mechanic Licence
- Previous smoke alarm or residential compliance experience highly regarded
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working autonomously across the Gold Coast
- Confident using basic mobile technology
- Professional, punctual and reliable
- Police Check and White Card, or willingness to obtain
