About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our growing Power Division. Working within the utilities sector, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of power infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical utility infrastructure projects that support communities and contribute to the reliability and growth of the power network.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the engineering and technical aspects of power and utility projects from planning through to completion.

- Support project managers in delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

- Coordinate design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.

- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.

- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.

- Prepare project reports, progress updates, cost forecasts, and technical submissions.

- Assist with contract administration, variations, and project scheduling.

- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety requirements.

About you

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, or a related discipline.

- Proven experience delivering projects within the power, utilities,



electrical infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors.

- Strong understanding of electrical distribution and transmission systems, substations, or utility infrastructure.

- Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

- Knowledge of contract management and project delivery methodologies is highly regarded.
