About the Role

Airswift is partnering with a leading global engineering and project delivery organisation to recruit an Electrical Engineer Level II to support a portfolio of major energy, resources and industrial projects across Australia.

Based in Brisbane with hybrid working arrangements available, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects within the mining, minerals, metals and oil & gas sectors. You will play a key role in delivering electrical engineering solutions from concept and FEED through to detailed design, construction and commissioning.

Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers and clients, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical engineering outcomes while ensuring compliance with Australian standards, project requirements and industry best practice.

About You

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Engineering.
- Extensive experience within oil & gas, energy, resources or heavy industrial environments.
- Proven experience delivering electrical engineering projects from concept through to construction and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and electrical engineering design principles.
- Experience with electrical system design including HV/LV distribution, MCCs, switchgear, earthing,



lighting and protection systems.
- Ability to prepare and review key engineering deliverables including calculations, SLDs, schematics, layouts, specifications and datasheets.
- Experience with control systems, instrumentation interfaces and multidisciplinary project delivery.
- Exposure to FATs, SATs, construction support and commissioning activities.
- Hazardous Area design experience and/or certification will be highly regarded.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver outcomes safely, on schedule and within budget.
