About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant who is ready to take on greater responsibility and develop their leadership skills.

As the Retail Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, leading the front-of-shop team and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with general pharmacy enquiries.

- Supporting the dispensary with script management and workflow.

- Overseeing retail stock control, including ordering, replenishment and stock presentation.

- Managing merchandising and ensuring the retail area is well presented and commercially focused.

- Leading, motivating and supporting the pharmacy team.

- Training, coaching and mentoring team members to help them reach their potential.

- Assisting with rostering and day-to-day team coordination.

- Ensuring team members follow Chempro policies, procedures and operational standards.

- Monitoring and supporting loyalty programs and promotional activities.

- Completing administrative duties and assisting with the smooth operation of the pharmacy.

- Identifying opportunities to improve sales, customer service and the overall retail experience.





- Working closely with the Pharmacist Manager and pharmacy team to achieve store goals.

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, proactive and ready to take the next step into a leadership position.

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous experience working in a community pharmacy is highly desirable.

- Strong retail experience, preferably within a pharmacy environment.

- A proven ability to lead, motivate and support a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A strong focus on customer service and creating positive customer experiences.

- Experience with Point of Sale systems; MINFOS experience is advantageous.

- An understanding of pharmacy loyalty programs and retail promotions.

- Solid organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership and responsibility.

- A genuine passion for community pharmacy, healthcare and helping customers.

- The ability to train and mentor team members while leading by example.

- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, grow and contribute to the success of the store.
