LIFE IN THE ROLE?

As a Senior Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a key role in the proactive management of the debtor ledger, ensuring invoices are raised accurately and payments are collected within agreed timeframes. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will drive strong financial outcomes through effective debt management, reporting, process improvement, and customer relationship management. This role is ideal for a highly organised finance professional with solid attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key objectives of the role include:

- Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring outstanding debts are actively monitored and collected.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to support timely invoicing and payment collection.




- Prepare and distribute debtor reports, including aged debt analysis and top debtor reporting, to support business decision-making.
- Process invoices, credit notes, adjustments, refunds, and account reconciliations accurately and within required timeframes.
- Complete month-end accounts receivable activities, including statements, reconciliations, reporting, and ledger rollovers.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
- Support the broader Finance team with year-end activities, finance administration, and cross-functional collaboration

ABOUT YOU?

To be successful in the role, the right fit will possess:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Senior Account Receivable role
- Ability to demonstrate a strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to achieve agreed outcomes
- Solid knowledge of GST
- The ability to demonstrate a methodical approach to work processes
- To be able to work independently and be able to meet strict deadlines
- Integrity – must be able to demonstrate and maintain high ethical standards of conduct;
- Experience in cash handling/reconciling and banking




- Knowledge of Momentus or another large commercial accounting package, with proficient Microsoft office, Excel and Word skills
- Experience and knowledge of debt recovery practices including areas involving legal action
- Solid Accounting skills are desirable
