About the role

SEM Facade is seeking a Facade Project Coordinator to join our dynamic construction and project management team. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating and managing facade projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for liaising between multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate all aspects of facade projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management

- Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met

- Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets, identifying and escalating issues promptly

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, specifications, and correspondence

- Manage procurement processes and ensure materials and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively

- Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure work meets contractual specifications and industry standards

- Coordinate health and safety compliance on project sites in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies

- Prepare progress reports and project updates for management and clients

- Support contract management activities, including variations and claims administration





- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practice implementation within the project management function

What we're looking for

- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

- Experience in project coordination or project management, ideally within the construction or facade industry

- Demonstrated proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes

- Knowledge of construction health and safety requirements and relevant legislation

- Problem-solving capability and the ability to work effectively under pressure

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications

- Experience with scheduling and budgeting tools is advantageous

- Understanding of facade systems and construction methodologies is preferred
